Hello and welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. I am excited for the return of our amazing staff and students and cannot wait to meet and welcome the newest Belmont Braves into our school and community. As Dean of Students I believe my job is to foster relationships with students, families, and staff by providing a friendly, safe, welcoming atmosphere where all types of learning can take place and is celebrated. 

This is my  fourth year as Belmont's Dean of Students before stepping into this role I was a classroom teacher for over 30 years here in the Belmont School District. During my tenure I taught math, science, driver's ed, and coached various sports. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, many of whom are also educators.  I have 3 children.  My son, Jake, is the high school principal at Platteville schools. His wife, McKenzie, is a third grade teacher at Platteville. They have two children, JJ and Kamryn. My middle daughter, Carrie, is an art teacher in Deerfield, WI . Her husband Brent is an mechanical engineer and they have three children, Camille, Daniel, and Phen. My youngest daughter, Emily, is an English teacher in the Platteville school district.  Her husband, Kristopher is a financial analyst. They have two children, Zoey and Zekiel.
